Care Instructions: Onyx, like marble, may contain small cracks, fissures and pits that are characteristic of this authentic product. It is naturally porous so please treat with care.  Do not leave liquids directly on the surface for extended periods as they may mark or stain the surface. Oily and acidic substances, as well as strongly pigmented foodstuffs are particularly harmful to the surface.  Avoid abrasive cleaners and sharp cutting on the surface. Only use stone soap or neutral / low pH dish liquid with warm water to clean.
